I know this isn't THAT much of a stretch, but it was still a sight for this first-timer in Alaska.  Here's the view from my hotel in downtown Anchorage at 9:20PM looking at the sun setting in the distance.  What a sight!   I now see this sun spot everywhere I look...at least I'll see Alaska everywhere I look, forever.
